The recent advent in sixth sense technology has opened a porthole to a whole new aspect in
science and technology. The main complaint of a modern day tech-junkie is the enormity of
the hardwares used to access useful softwares and a resulting difficulty in their portability.
Hence our main objective is to design an existing technology using sixth sense technology
and hence provide a solution to the afore mentioned difficulties...

Regarding progress in our work......we have completed our research on sixth sense technology..
Also the divergent thought process has been initiated....we have come up with various
applications and are working towards converging on one single application.....

Ok......so we have decided to work on the application of sixth sense technology in tourism!!!!!!

Introduction:

Sixth sense technology is basically an interface which enables us to make the optimal choice.
It reads, interprets and creates a virtual reality which plays a crucial role role in making that choice
for which backup is negligible; normally attributed to the sixth sense...hence the name!!!

Pranav mistry, an MIT graduate and a fellow indian is the brains behind this technology and has
laid the foundations for its countless applications....

sixth sense basically consists of a camera, which captures the surroundings which are analyzed acoordingly i.e. as for which the programming is done. The results are interpretted via a virtual media describing details of the objects captured.....

.
This also recognises hand gestures and createes simulated environment to interact with the
processor. The mundane GPS system in our automobiles are synchronously attached or connected to the processor and the GPS functioning is provided by the display projector..
This application would make trvelling around the world a much cheaper affair!!!!!!

CONSTITUTIONAL FEATURES:
The main processor is a mobile, prefferably a top-end which mainly works on GSM and CDMA
feature.
An automobile GPS is a more preferrable option as the normal cellphone GPS runs at very low
and requires repeaters to enhence signals.....which again brings up questions about adaptivity...
GPRS connection, and not any ordinary one,is of paramount importance as even in this case, accessibility to the internet plays a crucial role.....

PRODUCT DESIGN SPECIFICATION:-

SO the pds is for the application of sixth sense technology in tourism......

1. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS-
The primary function should be to analze the location, recognize the location and provide information about the place regarding accomodation, tourist attrations, local cuisine,
accesibility.....
Other secondary functions may include displaying data like the weather forecast....
The main cause of concern is the portability. As mentioned above this device is only as big as your cell phone.....so the size of the device is customized.....
As far as reliability is concerned it is highly reliable and detailed as human involement is absent and consequently erases all possibilities of errors.......It is highly adaptive...
There would be no kind of disturbances like unwanted noise and vibrations........
It is also not affected by weather conditions....
2. MANUFACTURE REQUIREMENTS-
The first and foremost thing to be done is to creata an online database using a software
which constantly updates the database...The information to be contained is that of all the
places...it's famous landmarks, accomodation facilities,cuisine,accesibility.....This should be subject ot changes....
The materials required are very simple---- a camera, projector, motion sensors, cellphone
and some useful applications like GPS and GPRS......
The assembly can be made using an assembly line.......
This is something which can be assembled manually....just like how Pranav mistry did it!!!!
3. ACCEPTANCE STANDARDS:
The GPS and GPRS which would be used will definitely be patented......so negotiations must be made with the concerned personel before embarking upon the manufacture...This would prevent any violation of laws.....The same holds good with the mobile and the projectors.....
Since this product is the first of it's kind (hopefully!!), corporate attention would be
necessary to ensure that people are made aware of this product;its various uses
and how much easier and cheaper it would make tourism......Hence outsourcing the
required corporate tem is essential.....
4. OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
The cellphone feature is readily available with a camera...The projector has to be installed on the phone before it can be used....GPRS AND GPS come in-built.......
There is no question about safety as this just a slight improvement upon your everyday
cellphone.....It also runs on low voltages and there is absolutel no chance of shocks or
any other accidents.......
5. DISPOSAL:
Since there is an option of automatic update provide, the only reason for disposal would
arise when there is a new model available......Nevertheless, as has been mentioned
on several occasion this is a cellphone making decisions for you.....so this can also be
recycled in the cellphone bins....
As is the case with all online applications...thereis a never ending threat of security....
This would be a dream come true for hackers as they would have easy access to our
cellphones....We are still working on this problem.....
Virus attacks can also take place....but there is a ready-made soltion for the----------
The anti-virus softwares......

AN UPPER-HAND:
This product being the first of its kind with low intermittence levels , corporate sponsorship
and publicity would be high.. The revolutionary product could change the scope of the stereotypical perceptions of people, instill a sense of eccentricity and provide an
entertaining as well as enhanced features just by simple hand gestures......
