INTEGRATED SECURITY SYSTEMS WEEKLY PROGRESS REPORT 1 and 2

we first tried to know the various security requirements of the different organization
and we also studied the existing security systems also how it uses satellite,sensors,detectors......... and looking for flaws in it..so that we will improve upon it and also trying to put in our new innovative ideas for specific security problems

Previously we tried to know how basically a security system works and we had a group discussion about where security systems are used and how it is implemented...... ex:security systems at airports, banks, colleges, schools, malls........and we also tried to collect the information about smuggling of drugs which was done by Gowthami and network security which was done by kruthika, details about ammunations which was done by priyanka, details about new technology called malintent which was done by ashmitha, details about airport security was done by kaveri and the accessability of the emplooyes at the airport was done by revathi .After collecting all these informations and having the group discussion we finally came to the conclusions that securities at airports needs much attentions that to at the times now when the terrorists activities are on a high and privacy and security of the public is a high concern.

Also through group discussion we read about the various current matters....few months ago there was a report at the US Airport about the use of Body scanners .....but there was a controversy saying that it will exploit the privacy of the people. However this is the main key point of our project to ensure the privacy and security of the people and mainly washrooms and restrooms are the target points where the criminals get the opportunity to put their plans into actions even undergoing a thorough security checkings...but instead of cameras there should be a special type of sensors that only detects the explosives like RDX.

Also Advanced and sophisticated security instruments should be installed at the airports like the MALINTENT INSTRUMENT ie it is type of instrument that scans a person's facial expression to gauge whether he or she is planning to commit an attack or crime.It consists of series of sensors,detectors,mobile security screeners, and imagers that read body temperature,respiration,heart rate,non-verbal cues,blood pressure...Any suspects are pulled aside for questioning and then subjected for the second scans.It does not predict who you are and make a judgement but provides an assessment and in situations.
